Two different vintage framed prints of original oil paintings, Flowers of Britain, by John Lancaster, 1960s. Printed in 1970s. Price is for one print only. Each print shows a beautifully detailed painting of different British flowers, with the artist's signature on the front. We have two variations, Rose & Magnolia (1965) and Peony, Rose & Lily (1968) from a series of six flower studies by Lancaster. Label on reverse details all flower names. Would look great as a pair or singly as part of gallery wall. Pre-loved marks: Both prints have age-related discolouration all over and frames show gentle fading and loss of colour in some areas, which adds to their charms. Small chips on both frames but hardly visible when hung. Paper sealing tape on reverse is damaged in several places but prints are secure in their frames.

  • Beautiful rustic vintage West German floor vase, made by Bay Keramik. Dates from 1960-70s. Lively green/brown drip glaze, sometimes known as 'fat lava' style. Would make a great stand-alone decorative piece or also works beautifully with long-stemmed flowers or foliage. Pre-loved marks: Other than slight imperfections and bubbles in glaze as part of manufacturing process, vase is in excellent condition. See photos for details Pro flower arranging tip: To use as a vase with shorter stems, fill with water, then submerge lots of crumpled plastic bags, squeezing to allow bubbles to escape. This creates a higher false ‘base’ for shorter stems to stand on.
